From 1905 to 1927 Boomer had its own Post Office, below are documents from the National Archives, that gives a some insight into the Boomer Post Office.
Slade Goodnough seems to have held the office of Postmaster for the entire duration of Boomer’s Post Office history. Another interesting fact from these documents is that in the 1905 document it states that Boomer had over 200 residents living in the Boomer area at the time.
